Our Veterinarian Team

Dr. Harrell is the Medical Director at Bay Breeze Animal Clinic. She has designed BBAC to make you, your pet, and your family feel welcome. Dr. Harrell graduated from Texas A&MUniversity College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and has worked in the Coastal Bend region since graduation. Her primary expertise is the treatment of cats and dogs. In addition to being a veterinarian and clinic owner, Dr. Harrell was also an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Campus, where she taught Animal Science 301 in 2010 and 2011. She strongly believes in supporting the local Rockport Humane Society by providing discounted services to some of their pets before they are adopted out to the public. She has a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters that provide her with the support and encouragement to make her dream of giving the Rockport Community thorough, high-quality, personalized veterinary care come true.

Receptionist

Paige has been a receptionist in a veterinary clinic since 2007 and has been with us since 2011. Paige is a smiling face when you walk in and a pleasant voice when you call.

Paige grew up in the area and moved to Rockport when she started with us. Her favorite hobby is playing with and showing off her great niece Laney Jade or as Paige calls her, “The Princess.”  She describes herself as a “word nerd” who loves to read, collect maps, and work in her yard.

Hospital Manager

Sadie attended Coastal Bend College and has been practicing in the veterinary field for over five years. She prides herself in taking care of all the little details behind the scene so the doctors and technicians can do what they do best. It just so happens Sadie has the right-shaped head for many hats! She feels the reward of seeing happy customers is indescribable.

In her free time, she loves all things coastal, as long as it is sunny and 75.  Sadie loves the fact that the ocean is right out the back door of the clinic.

Jessica is our lead surgery technician. She has been a technician for 19 years, working in general practice, specialty, and emergency medicine before she made her way to Bay Breeze in 2014.

Jessica is the mother to an amazing son named Carter and her perfect dog, Galoot! When not working, she enjoys fishing and spending time with her family.

Megan has been working as a veterinary technician for four years. Prior to joining Bay Breeze Animal Clinic, Megan worked for a very fast-paced veterinary clinic in San Antonio, where she started as a Kennel Technician and worked her way up to a surgical technician. Megan does aspire to eventually  become a veterinarian that specializes in either radiology or exotic animal medicine. Megan strives to make sure all our patients feel comfortable during their visits and that they receive all the detailed medical attention that they deserve.

In her free time, Megan loves to put together puzzles, spend time with her family and enjoy outdoor activities.

She also has her hands full, taking care of her Leopard Gecko (Emmeric) and her dachshund mix (Maverick).

Adrianna has enjoyed helping animals for at least five years—time flies when you are having fun! She is a quick learner and uses her skills to hone in on her dedication to compassionately serving her patients and their human counterparts! In her free time, Adrianna enjoys all things nature and the outdoors. Rockport has perfect weather down by the beach, so who wouldn’t? She especially makes time for my small circus of a Guinea Pig and three digs with My chihuahua, Diojie being the ring leader!

Stephanie has over a decade of experience in the veterinary industry, having obtained her Veterinary Management Assistant certificate from Fayetteville Technical Community College. She takes great satisfaction in displaying her compassion by caring for each of our clients’ pets as if they were her own. Stephanie finds joy in witnessing the growing confidence and trust of clients as she educates them on various aspects of pet care.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 24 years and two daughters. One grown and one headed off to college. If she has time, you will find her at the gym. Keeping up with her spunky team takes some back-end work! We have 3 well-loved rescue cats: The diabetic King Maximus, Salem, the part dog ninja, and Kali, the crazy calico.
